Acitretin (Ro 10-1670) is a second-generation, systemic retinoid that has been used in the treatment of psoriasis. Acitretin also can be used for the research of Alzheimer’s disease[1-[3].

Acitretin (10 mg/kg; i.p. for 7 days) increases IL-6 in the central nervous system of Alzheimer’s disease model mice[3].
