enceappears aroResponse of FeRhoNox™-1 to Fe2+. Reacting FeRhoNox™-1 with Fe2+for 1 h at 37℃, peak of the fluorescund 575 nm.

Fe2+detection by FeRhoNox™-1in HepG2 cells. HepG2 cells preincubated with/without Fe(NH4)2(SO4)2(FAS: 100 µM) for 0.5 hrwas incubated with 5 µM of FeRhoNox™-1 for 1 hr.

The selectivity of FeRhoNox™-1.FeRhoNox™-1 can react with only Fe2+selectively.

① – Fe2+ : not added Fe2+ 100 μM Ferrous ammoniumsulfate

Bpy: cell permeable
Fe2+ selective chelator
(2,20-bipyridyl).

② +Fe2+ : added Fe2+

③ +Fe2+ +Bpy : added Fe2+ and Bpy(1 mM) as Fe2+ chelator

② shows increasing of FeRhoNox™-1’s fluorescence intensity and

③showsdecreasing of it. These results indicate that FeRhoNox™-1 reacts with Fe2+ selectively.

                                             Detection of internal Fe2+

 

Since the fluorescence intensity on

①by adding “Bpy”, FeRhoNox™-1
